New Wi-Fi being rolled out across Imperial
Imperial is getting brand new, faster, more secure and reliable Wi-Fi, with installations starting in June 2024. Visit our new Wi-Fi website to find out more.
Depending on whether you're a university account holder, a visitor or guest, you can connect to Imperial's WiFi network using one of the three methods below.
Imperial members
Imperial-WPA
Connect to the university Wi-Fi using the Imperial-WPA Wi-Fi network if you have an Imperial account. Visitor and guest accounts should instead connect via The Cloud.
Imperial-PSK
The Imperial-PSK network is available for sensors and instruments (e.g microscopes, 3D printers) that are unable to connect to the Imperial-WPA network. If you have a device/object that requires connecting to Imperial-PSK, please contact the ICT Service Desk.
Visitors and guests
The Cloud
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the college via Sky Wi-Fi via The Cloud. Connect to The Cloud by searching for Wi-Fi networks on your device, connecting to the '_The Cloud' network and following the instructions that show on screen.
