Our school group visits are available on weekdays during term time between 10.00 and 16.00 and are suitable for young people aged between 15 and 18 who are studying at a level equivalent to UK school years 11 to 13.
What's covered on a school group visit
Our school group visits typically include:
- a guided tour of our campus with a current student
- a general presentation about Imperial with a member of our Student Recruitment team (subject to availability)
How to request a school group visit
You can request a school visit to Imperial by email.
We recommend that you submit your request at least four weeks in advance. We aim to respond to requests within three working days.
You should include your school’s name in the subject line of your email and include the following information in your message:
- your school’s name and location
- the students’ age and year group
- the size of your group (we can accommodate groups of up to 40 people)
- the subjects and qualifications your students are studying (such as A-level or IB Diploma)
- your preferred visit date and time
Useful to know
We recommend students are proficient in English to get the most of out their visit. We cannot provide translators.
We can’t provide tours of our teaching facilities, library or accommodation, or organise lectures and lab taster sessions.
We don’t offer tours or presentations for independent tour groups or agencies.
Visits for university groups
Our visits are aimed at students who are interested in studying a degree at Imperial. For other requests, you may wish to contact one of our academic departments directly.
If you are a university group interested in further study at Imperial, email us with the details of your request. We aim to respond to requests within three working days.
