Christopher Hunton has been on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) staff since 2003. He is on detail to the Communications and Technology Promotion team at NIST’s Technology Partnerships Office (TPO) as an Information Specialist.
Mr. Hunton plans, manages and executes complex communication assignments essential to promoting NIST intellectual property and NIST’s lab-to-market goals. He plans and coordinates writing assignments, interviews, and recordings and assists with trainings, showcases, and other events.
Before coming to NIST, Chris worked as the Finance and Planning Director of a technology company. Other career experiences include serving as the Vice President of a small government affairs and lobbying firm and as the Membership Vice President of a national trade association and lobby.
Mr. Hunton received an A.B. degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
