Dark Metal Energy (Japanese: ダークメタルエネルギー Dark Metal Energy) is a Special Energy card. It was first released as part of the EX Team Rocket Returns expansion.

Energy, but provides only 1 Energy at a time.
(Doesn't count as a basic Energy card when not in play and has no effect other than providing Energy.)
Release information
This card was included in the English EX Team Rocket Returns expansion with artwork by Takumi Akabane, first released in the Japanese Rocket Gang Strikes Back expansion. It was reprinted in the Japanese Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Aura's Lucario.
In Japan, this card was reprinted with a different artwork by the same artist as a Holofoil PCG-P Promotional card. It was available at two events held as part of the regional Spring 2005 Battle Road tournaments: as a redemption prize to those participating in the Point Get Battle event and as a prize to participants who reached the final round in the main tournament. This print was later reprinted in the English EX Holon Phantoms expansion.
