Kofi Baako (1926-1984) was a Ghanaian nationalist and politician. He was the elected representative for Saltpond in the Legislative Assembly of the Gold Coast in 1954-1957 and he was Minister for Information and Broadcasting of the Nkrumah-governement in the time 1958-1961. He was the leader of the National Assembly of Ghana 1961-1966 and in later governements also Minister for Parliamentary Affairs as well as Minister for Defense. Beside of this, he was also the General Secretary of the CPP (Convention's People Party) in Ghana until to 1966 and was generally identified as representative of the socialist wing of his party.
