Question I can't figure what is this "nature monument"? The sole reference I found is [1], which matches the geocode, but there is little explanation. Could you explain please? Thanks, Yann (talk) 04:04, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This place used to be a limestone quarry; from this time the terrain bumps come from. After the quarry was abandoned, nature took it back and nowadays there grow variety of plants including some protected species. It is a small area of land (just 0.19 km²) which really differs from its agricultural surroundings, as can be seen on the original picture (this is a cropped version). The area was declared a natural monument of the Czech Republic and put on the IUCN list of protected areas, category IV. Jan Kameníček (talk) 22:44, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
