Description
English: Wright Brothers first powered flight was celebrated on its 25th anniversary on December 12, 1928, with a 2-cent red stamp of the Wright Flyer and a 5-cent blue stamp of a contemporary monoplane. The Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol flank each vignette showing where the Aeronautics Conference was held that year.
