Description
English: The silver-made Omega pocket watch presented by General Henri Berthelot to Father Constantin I. Roșescu, a Romanian Orthodox priest and teacher from Iași, that became his friend during the WWI French campaign in Romania. The backplate is engraved with "CR", Roșescu's initials. Father Roșescu served as a military confessor during WWI, participating to battles.
Română: Ceasul Omega de argint dăruit de către generalul Henri Berthelot părintelui Constantin I. Roșescu, preot ortodox și profesor din Iași, care i-a devenit prieten în timpul campaniei militare franceze din România, în timpul Primului Război Mondial. Capacul din spate al ceasului poartă gravate literele „CR”, inițialele părintelui Roșescu. Părintele Roșescu a servit drept confesor militar în timpul războiului, participând la bătălii.
Français : La montre de poche Omega en argent présentée par le Général Henri Berthelot au Père Constantin I. Roșescu, un prêtre orthodoxe roumain et enseignant de Iași, qui devint son ami durant la campagne de la Première Guerre mondiale en Roumanie. La plaque arrière est gravée de "CR", les initiales de Roșescu. Père Roșescu a servi comme confesseur militaire pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, participant aux batailles.
