Template talk:CRT list2
What happened?
editWhy those links are now Wikidata items? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:51, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- It seems ok now so This section is resolved and can be archived. If you disagree, replace this template with your comment. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 08:47, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- The problem seems to have come from a change to {{Label}} by User:Jarekt, since undone, which had the effect of displaying the QIDs rather than country names. I still see the QIDs when I view this template, but not when I edit it, and not when I view pages that use it. Aymatth2 (talk) 13:23, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- The issue, which is discussed at Commons:Village_pump#Issues_with_templates_using_Wikidata, was due to a bug in MW LUA libraries, which was reverted yesturday. It just happen that on the same day I did changes to {{Label}} template, but sadly undoing the change actually increased the number of affected pages. It should be fixed now, but might still need purge. --Jarekt (talk) 14:19, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Jarekt: Thanks. It looks o.k. to me now. Aymatth2 (talk) 19:21, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Entry "United States Minor Outlying Islands" referenced twice
editEntry "United States Minor Outlying Islands" is referenced twice : 1.in Americas and in 2.Oceanias We should statuate in which section it is. Unicity facilitates translation update process. Thanks.
Christian FR (talk) 18:29, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- The United States Minor Outlying Islands are mostly in the Pacific Ocean, but the tiny uninhabited Navassa Island is in the Caribbean. For this reason, User:Well-Informed Optimist added United States Minor Outlying Islands to the Americas section of this template. I see no reason why the islands should not be listed under both Oceania and Americas. Turkey is listed under both Europe and Asia, since readers may expect to find it in either section. OCeaniAAaa
editWhat happened to the word "Oceania" in this template? It reads OCeaniAAaa. Andrei Romanenko (talk) 02:06, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Андрей Романенко: Vandalism in Wikidata. Reverted. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 13:22, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
remove "Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic" or not
editAs that page is just a redirect to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Western Sahara. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:14, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- I can't see any particular reason to keep it or remove it. There may be some historical reason for having both. Module:Countries returns both Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Western Sahara, don't know why. Aymatth2 (talk) 16:21, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
PN Is For Pitcairn Islands
editAlefar (talk) 20:11, 20 December 2020 (UTC) There Should Be Pitcairn Islands. (I Added It To The List, But It's A Redlink.)
Alefar (talk) 20:11, 20 December 2020 (UTC) Me Again: I Looked In The BOTs And PN Wasn't Linked.
- I started an entry, and put in a request at Module:Countries. It does belong for the sake of completeness. Aymatth2 (talk) 14:58, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Problem with internationalization
editHow can I correct the translation of footnotes? These Other region, e.g. dependency, union, former country and Limited international recognition are mistranslated into my language (Russian). Andrei Romanenko (talk) 01:55, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Андрей Романенко: See the “Relies on:” list in the documentation. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 00:43, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
