Congratulations on having this photo made picture of the day for June 30, 2010. Was it dangerous taking this photo or were you far away from the spider...and did you just zoom in with your SLR camera? You did mention that it was poisonous to humans. Just curious. It is really dangerous "pet". The size with legs approximate 18 cm. Poison is similar to a wasp, however a dose far much more. Hairs on a body is poisonous too. Speed of movement of 5-7 km/h. I leased this spider and other poisonous tarantulas from a private zoo collection. After my instructions my son of age of 13 years helped me: cautiously placed this spider in area near my camera. June 30 is Birthday of my son (very good amateur biologist). I use compact Panasonic with macro distance (You can see EXIF). A abandoned beach of the Black sea was used as similar photostudio.

Your son was indeed very brave handling the spider because even with training sometimes, things can go wrong since these 'creatures' become scared and react badly to human intervention. Not really, in the scope you mention the word 'ripe' is indeed superfluous, but that scope is more than half a year old and we've been fine-tuning since.

My major qualm with the scope however is that you see fruits here (within their husks) and even the so-called nuts are technically (botanically) spoken drupes and not nuts. Lycaon (talk) 21:47, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

miroir

J’ai regardé tes photographies de champignons. Le relief et l’éclairage pourrait être amélioré si tu utilisais deux flashs. Mais il y a une astuce, que j’utilise souvent , c’est celle des miroirs. Tu peux emporter avec toi deux miroirs, de petites taille, que tu disposes, en général, en arrière et de part et d’autre du champignon, la lumière sera plus douce…

Hi! Yes, it means where the picture was taken. Typically used Template:Location, Template:Location dec, Template:Object location or Template:Object location dec.
