It has come to my attention that there is a pattern to certain questions on the Help desk but they are not covered in the traditional FAQ as they are too specific, or perhaps not frequent enough. |

I'm not at all sure what [[User:Cybularny]] was suppressing [https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&logid=341440608 here], but removing days of history makes it almost impossible for anyone to follow activity on this page and see what has happened since they last visited. Unless this was something awfully egregious, this seems disproportionate. I am thinking for repeatable questions we keep a FAQ-like document for reference by helpers. It could link from elsewhere also. Perhaps kept at [[Commons:Help desk/FAQ]]. |

And not related to Wikimedia Commons/Wikipedia. A page with a good "flow chart" approach to that could be useful. Pooling our knowledge: less frequently FAQ
[edit]It has come to my attention that there is a pattern to certain questions on the Help desk but they are not covered in the traditional FAQ as they are too specific, or perhaps not frequent enough.
I am thinking for repeatable questions we keep a FAQ-like document for reference by helpers. It could link from elsewhere also. Perhaps kept at Commons:Help desk/FAQ.
