- What 'work of art' is being protected here? It's just a picture of a street in Brussels. --Judithcomm (talk) 08:15, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- The architecture of the buildings, including the storefronts, could be considered a work of art. Elisfkc (talk) 17:57, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- This would apply to the white buildings (plus storefront) on the right. The buildings left en left centre (star house and town hall) are too old. Why not wait untill the new legislation is in effect? Wouldn't that change things? --Judithcomm (talk) 12:29, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

Oppose These are all old buildings from 17th to 19th century. So they are PD. The noFoP rule is only for recent works of art/buildings (author died less than 70 years ago). Henxter (talk) 07:44, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- Comment Belgium appears to have introduced COM:FOP for architecture (very recently). I'm not sure whether it's officially law yet. Storkk (talk) 16:40, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- The law about FoP in Belgium will take effect on July 15th Henxter (talk) 07:44, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
Kept: FoP in Belgium. --Léna (talk) 13:17, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
