Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Wonfurt besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Wonfurt, Dampfach, Reinhardswinden und Steinsfeld. Der Lindenzweig repräsentiert den Ort Wonfurt; er ist dem Wappen der Herren von Seckendorff entnommen, die seit 1569 in Wonfurt ansässig waren. Als Sinnbild für Steinsfeld wurde der Zwetschgenzweig gewählt, der an den einst wichtigen Zwetschgenanbau im Ort erinnert. Der im Wellenschnitt geteilte Wolkenschildfuß steht redend für den Ort Dampfach, der seinen Namen vom gleichnamigen Bach ableitet.
