Description
English: Ganesha is an Indian deity who is worshipped as the remover of obstacles. He is a patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom. He is also the God of beginnings and is honored at the start of any and all rituals. Being the son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha is of Hindu religious origin but he has become a pan-Hindu deity found in various other traditions.
