Original description:

A Manchester Metrolink tram, seen here in central Manchester. The metrolink trams are of an unnusual high floor design, this is because much of the metrolink system runs on former heavy rail lines, and thus the stations have high platforms. Photo by G-Man Sept 2004. (older version)
