In the evening of Sep 12, 2018 EST, when Reddit banned all communities talking about Qanon, many more users when to Voat, causing some temporary problems. Problems continue. As users get upvotes, those upvotes are supposed to generate Comment Points, but do not. A person with 0 Comment points cannot create new posts regardless of the number of upvotes they have. And new users are limited to 10 comments per 24 hour period.
