Takeda Shingen

Takeda Shingen b.1521-d.1573) is known as one of Strong, Sengoku daimyo in the Shinano and Kai provinces.

Takeda Shingen, (Ta-kay-da Sheengayn), fought a long series of famous battles with Uesugi Kenshin, (Ooaysoogee Kaynsheen); of these particularly notable battles were those of the Kawanakajima, (Kawanakajeema).

Shingen died due to illness that resulted from a musket ball wound.

A dramatization of his life was made into a television series by NHK.
