Hello. I have renamed a number of your articles under the convention of minimum necessary disambiguation. In Australia populated places and railway stations have compulsory dab, but nothing else; if anything has a unique name, that is what is called. Bloody minefield really but you get used to it. A couple still on your user page (which I wouldnt dare touch) will need the same treatment. Your HTML doesnt work on all browsers (Firefox isnt impressed) and is generally avoided on wiki; gallery is also discouraged. O/wise, damn good job!! This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Holehird, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.holehirdgardens.org.uk/?the-walled-garden,20.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Alderley House

Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for the extra detail you provided to the Alderley House article. What I had originally written was based extensively on Kingsley's books, but clearly he omitted a fair amount of information. Could I ask, do you have a connection with the property, and if so what that is?

Speedy deletion nomination of William Byam Wilmot

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on William Byam Wilmot requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. wintonian talk edits 08:13, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notability for One Event

I just wanted to let you know that I have redirected a number of articles you recently created for individuals who were all notable for a single event (being in a famous photogaph) per the Wikipedia policy on one event notability WP:1E. Generally unless there are multiple secondary reliable sources which establish that the person was notable for something other than the single event, they do not warrant having their own article. You may consider expanding the content a little bit on the article about the photograph by adding some additional columns with notable facts about the people.   Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as William Oliver (colonist of Victoria), to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.Template:Z44 Please stop continuing to create pages for people who are only notable for a single event. It may be helpful to read WP:1E and WP:N to understand the requirements for notability for a stand-alone article. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 16:52, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Painshill Park

With regards to the photo of the watermill in the late 19th century, I don't think that it adds anything to the article in terms of valuable content, and as far as the formatting and overall appearance of the article goes, it simply looks messy. On the other hand, the picture might be useful in a number of other articles such as Hydraulics, Joseph Bramah, or Water wheels. I don't know if you have done any work on the Joseph Bramah article, but it doesn't mention his invention/improvement of water wheels. Perhaps you could put this to rights. Hi. When you recently edited Athlone House (formerly Caen Wood Towers), Highgate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hull (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hi, thanks for the images on the above. I am a little concerned that the licensing is incorrect on this one as the author is unknown but the license you have used is meant for an author who is known. Also, it usual to have a side profile image face the text. Please also bare in mind that to many images on an article with little text makes it look crowded. I don't really think we can afford any more until the text is expanded. Many thanks. -- CassiantoTalk 21:46, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve The Polebarn Hotel

Hi, I'm Rent A Troop. Maypm, thanks for creating The Polebarn Hotel!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hello, I have looked at your newly created article. While you mention the hotel in the introduction you go off topic in 3 sections: John and Catherine Clark, John Clark’s descendants, and William and Emily Mackay.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Rent A Troop (talk) 08:16, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dates for Alfred Robinson on Backwell House, Somerset

Thanks for creating the interesting article about Backwell House, Somerset. Could you just check the dates for Alfred Roberts Robinson. The article says "When John Robinson died in 1886 Backwell House was inherited by his eldest son Alfred Roberts Robinson who lived here with his family for the next 53 years until his death in 1849. Alfred was born in 1856 in Gloucester." but that doesn't really make sense - should his date of death be 1949? It also appears he married in 1992 to Jessie Gotch who died in 1936. I don't have the sources to check these out so could you take another look?— Rod talk 20:36, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
