Disco-crumping combines the John Travolata-esque, Bee Gee-listening-to pizzazz of disco (no, not on rollerskates) with the street styles of crumping. It's an extreme form of dancing because crumping in platform shoes and tight pants has frequently resulted in severe joint damage. Unfortunately, there aren't any videos on YouTube as it's still fairly experimental and avant-garde.

The dance-style bible, the 'Bring It On' series of films, tackles the underground, hybrid movement in a really insightful, dramatic way here: [1]. The more 'sterile' Disney-fied version of crumping can be seen in this trailer for a film called Rise: [2]. The 2nd guy who talks - his shoes are too clean for him to be underground.

And this is Disco: [3]. Further a field, this is a foreign but popular version of Disco you may have come across before: [4]. But be warned that the potent combination of disco and crumping is nothing like this: [5].

Trend-spotters are starting to talk about new and evolving styles such as Disco-crumping falling under the loosely defined category of Dance 2.0.
