Sandbox

Should a link to the Sandbox be included under the test edit section? It's just an idea. Stwalkerster 21:09, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Purpose of this page and the sandbox

Is it really necessary to promote "test edits" to the introduction page, as well as to the sandbox? Many new contributors accidentally remove the intro template and/or the Test edits header... Perhaps the introduction should be changed to direct test edits to the sandbox instead?

Color between tabs -- edit protected because of cascade

It is requested that an edit be made to the semi-protected project page at Wikipedia:Introduction (historical). (edit · history · last · links · protection log)

This template must be followed by a complete and specific description of the request, that is, specify what text should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y".

The edit may be made by any autoconfirmed user. Remember to change the |answered=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This is so that inactive or completed requests don't needlessly fill up the edit requests category. You may also wish to use the {{ESp}} template in the response. To request that a page be protected or unprotected, make a protection request.

Could we change the colour between tabs from #fff (white) to #f8fcff (background colour). It is just be a quick edit to Wikipedia:Introduction/TabsTop. Just a small visual thing. Thanks, Monkeyblue 11:23, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
