Karl Larsen (born September 25th, 1968) is a photographer who is responsible for the picture of Paris Hilton in the back of a patrol car in June 2007. The shot of Hilton crying in a patrol car was shown on '20/20' but was wrongly credited to Nick Ut, who took a similar photo and is known for his shot of a napalm victim in Vietnam.[1] Karl Larsen initiated a lawsuit against ABC, Inc. in January 2009 based on the '20/20' story.[2]
