== Misuse of word "trolling" == |
|||
Please don't remove my comments and say I'm "trolling" like you did in your last edit here. I explained in edit summaries and on talk pages that Suarez wasn't British, and you didn't even get to the second para of your own source to see that I was right. Instead you edit-warred - and ''you were wrong'''. Again, please stop it. Check your sources first before editing. You insisted your grammar was good too today and reverted me. Your grammar was not correct. If you will not look at your edits while doing them, and prefer to edit-war, I will have to contact you about them. That's logical isn't it? So, again, stop using the word "troll" every time you don't like what someone says (and when you yourself have made a mistake). Your HighBeam account is ready!
Good news! You now have access to 80 million articles in 6500 publications through HighBeam Research. Here's what you need to know:
- Your account activation code has been emailed to your Wikipedia email address.
- Only 407 of 444 codes were successfully delivered; most failed because email was simply not set up (You can set it in Special:Preferences).
- If you did not receive a code but were on the approved list, add your name to this section and we'll try again.
- The 1-year, free period begins when you enter the code.
- To activate your account: 1) Go to http://www.highbeam.com/prof1; 2) You’ll see the first page of a two-page registration. 3) Put in an email address and set up a password. (Use a different email address if you signed up for a free trial previously); 4) Click “Continue” to reach the second page of registration; 5) Input your basic information; 6) Input the activation code; 7) Click “Finish”. Note that the activation codes are one-time use only and are case-sensitive.
- If you need assistance, email "help at highbeam dot com", and include "HighBeam/Wikipedia" in the subject line. Or go to WP:HighBeam/Support, or ask User:Ocaasi. Please, per HighBeam's request, do not call the toll-free number for assistance with registration.
- A quick reminder about using the account: 1) try it out; 2) provide original citation information, in addition to linking to a HighBeam article; 3) avoid bare links to non-free HighBeam pages; 4) note "(subscription required)" in the citation, where appropriate
- HighBeam would love to hear feedback at WP:HighBeam/Experiences
- Show off your HighBeam access by placing {{User:Ocaasi/highbeam_userbox}} on your userpage
- When the 1-year period is up, check applications page to see if renewal is possible. We hope it will be.
Thanks for helping make Wikipedia better. Enjoy your research! Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 21:06, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Zips
I moved the Spiš site to Zips (region) and you reversed the change stating that you are not sure if this is a region. Please note that it is indeed the english name for the slovak "Spiš" region. I did provide numerous academic texts in english confirming this. I will post them here just to make sure you have them. Please move it back to "Zips (region)" on grounds that:
- An english title exists for this topic
- English spelling is preferred to that of non-English languages
- The spelling that reflects the majority of items on the page is preferred to less common alternatives.

There are many many many more English language sources which use "Spis" or variants. Also, using the actual current name of the place follows wikipedia naming conventions. I'm also not sure what German language works, or works about the German language have to do with the article title in the English Wikipedia.VolunteerMarek 14:16, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Note also that there was a requested move, as can be seen from the talk page and the consensus was to keep it at Spis [1] (note the closure which clearly states that this is the English name).VolunteerMarek 14:18, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
The sources I provided are English texts, if you would please check, I think you will see you are mistaken. Also, you have not provided any references for your claims. This is not adhering to wikipedia standards. Agentxp22 (talk) 14:23, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
