Hi SNUGGUMS, Nope my fault entirely - I have auto-fill enabled so I don't have to do much typing .... but unfortunately the order changed so when I type "d" instead of coming up with "d" (for delete) the first thing was "date formats etc etc" and without paying much attention smacked enter and hey ho,

I'm somewhat of a sloppy editor around 4am

Closing merger discussions at that troublesome article

@Davey2010: At Talk:Rape jihad, could we get the "Proposed merge" and "Proposed title" threads "blue-box" closed (as the proposals are highly contentious, meaning no merge or move can proceed on the basis of !voting)? Their existence is enabling a couple of the still-unblocked disruptive editors to keep hatting the article with multiple-issue tag-pollution. Thanks in advance. Pax 07:09, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi Davey2010, so sorry that your laptop has failed on you. I had a similar situation a few months ago. I hope you get your computer fixed and you can be active on Wikipedia as normal. What operating system and service pack are you currently (or was) using? I am currently using Windows Vista, which is the worst.

• Hi CookieMonster755, Windows 7 and service pack 1 and I got it working by resetting the entire thing:) - It basically had a funny moment so usually force it off and on ... but when I turned it on it wanted to do updates so again switched it off and on and in the process buggered something up - I tried every possible wwy of getting in but it was BSOD each time

I had my last XP laptop for 7/8 years and despite it being dropped more than you can count it worked fine .... This laptop on the otherhand .... well dropped the laptop once and the charger exploded inside the laptop, The laptop even overheated and had to pay £30 to get the charger slot glued to the laptop , Don't ever buy an ASUS laptop - You'll regret it ,

I have heard Vista is awful - Fancy swapping laptops haha ,

So glad you got your computer working again but never turn off the computer when it's doing updates, it even says it on the computer screen I know that some laptops are strong enough to be dropped I am planning to get Windows 10 when it comes available. Thanks for the tip, will not buy a ASUS laptop. Personally I like Dell computers, but that's my personal preference :) £30 seems cheep to get a charger slot fixed. Good deal. You can't beat Dell seriously , Haha well at the time money was short so it was very very expensive ,

Windows 10 looks epic - Glad they brought the taskbar back and plus it's roughly similar to Windows 7,

Tried Windows 8 and well I couldn't stand it , If I have the option of Windows 95 or 8 I'd probably go with 95 ,

Hahaha I couldn't have that as I'd shit myself everyday of it happening , I done over a thousaund updates on it today ... it then refused and after 4 hours of it saying "Failure to install updates, Reverting changes" I had to do System Restore which seems to have buggered something else up , I kinda thought hmm I'll reset the lot and everything will be fine .... Sorry to hear of your issues. Last September while carrying bags to a hotel room, I was holding a bag with my old laptop resting it on the floor (in the lobby), not the normal way but the side of it that has the CD drive and USBs, was the only part touching the floor, then I dropped the bag handles and the thing fell flat on the floor. Oh my god!, Well you were lucky that it carried on working , I wonder if I dropped this laptop on the CD drive side it would be an improvement , Saying that a few months ago the fan started making a very loud odd sound yet it wasn't dropped or anything .... Hi, As far as I know if the article is a stub it's fine to add an image in the box but if on the other hand it's rather big then no.. one shouldn't be added,

On a personal note I often find having an image under the box with no accompanying text takes up unnecessary space ..... I've amended the logo and image size but I assume you're not too thrilled about that .... So what about if perhaps we had a gallery of images instead ?,

Typo in AfD closure

AfD review

Hey @Davey2010:! I noticed you were part of the discussion and responsible for the ultimate closure of said discussion in an AfD discussion in December 2014 about the page Katja Glieson after it was marked for deletion. It recently was marked again for proposed deletion by someone else for similar reasons. Upon reviewing, I do tend to agree with the argument set forth by @Jeremy0987:, even though the article has had the proposed deletion flag removed by someone else (probably because it's already been through the AfD process). I was not part of the discussion back in December 2014 and I think your main reason for allowing the article to stay was from a google news search. I've just done another one today, and the subject does not seem to be in the news at all, and upon reviewing many of the articles about the only notable video subject was in, the articles are more about the video rather than the subject. I'm relatively new to Wikipedia so I've been studying up to understand more about the notability requirements, and I'm not sure the article is warranted. Just wondering how we can perhaps escalate for review again. I tried to clean up the article and make it right but I don't want to waste my time if the subject really isn't notable, as I suspect the subject is not. What's the best way to nominate it after AfD discussion has been closed? It already got denied from Jeremy0987's nom so yeah, i thought there was some review process to activate. I think notability is pretty questionable, given as you said it's really just mentions and there seems to be little interest in the subject specifically, the interest seems to be more about the video itself. The creator & other performer of the video series subject appeared in only once doesn't even have a wikipedia article. Thanks for the reply and help! Jslix201 (talk) 02:27, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
