Agustina Raimunda Maria Saragossa Doménech, "Agustina de Aragón" (1786-1857) was a heroic defender of Zaragoza during the War of Spanish Independence. which itself is regarded s the latter half of the Peninsular War by the British. There has been discussion as to whether Agustina was born in Reus (province of Tarragona) or in other places, but recent Aragonese bibliography locates her birth in 1786 in Reus. Agustina Zaragoza married to the 16 years with Joan Vila-dry Rock, artillery end. This it participated from the beginning in the War of Spanish Independence, being in the battle of the Bruc. The events of the war took it to Agustina to him and to Zaragoza. During the siege of Zaragoza, Agustina carried out the heroic action that made it famous.
