Hello. I would like to suggest the articles about metro stations in Sofia, Bulgaria to be renamed (for example Business Park Sofia Metro Station to Business Park Sofia station), in order to do not appear as red links in the Template:Sofia Metro 1 for this example). All articles should be renamed this way in order to do not appear as red links in the templates Template:Sofia Metro 1, Template:Sofia Metro 2 and Template:Sofia Metro M3 line. I'm not sure if this is the place for this type of requests (sorry if it's not). --Nixana (talk) 17:47, 21 August 2022 (UTC) |

If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

- To list a technical request: Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.

the - If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.
Technical requests
Hello. Uncontroversial technical requests
- Brumbies (currently a redirect to ACT Brumbies) → ACT Brumbies (move · discuss) – Team has official changed names, intended target currently a redirect that needs deleting Rugbyfan22 (talk) 09:22, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- Rugbyfan22 Is this the new WP:COMMONNAME though? Wikipedia articles don't need to be the official name. I also noticed some discussion of the article title from back in 2006, so this might not count as uncontroversial under WP:PCM even though it was a long time ago. -Kj cheetham (talk) 17:28, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- This shows that it is the teams new official title. If it needs to go to full discussion then no problem, I was just looking for a quicker solution. Normal naming conventions for rugby union sides is to use their official titles. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 17:36, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

- SmartPhones (Trey Songz song) (currently a redirect to SmartPhones (song)) → SmartPhones (song) (move · discuss) – unnecessary disambiguation, pls note there is also Smartphone (song) Richhoncho (talk) 23:25, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

Contested technical requests
- Jane De Leon (currently a redirect to Jane de Leon) → Jane de Leon (move · discuss) – The "d" should have not been capitalized a long time ago. Filipino names generally don't use capitalized letters for prefixes like de, dela, delos, etc. Refs use de for her surname. Also for consistency with other articles in Category:Filipino film actresses. Engr. Smitty Werben 23:00, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Engr. Smitty I'm not objecting, but this isn't technically uncontroversial given the article name was discussed on the talk page (as per WP:PCM). -Kj cheetham (talk) 17:29, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- AfterLife (album) → AfterLife (Five Finger Death Punch album) (currently a redirect back to AfterLife (album)) (move · discuss) – tons of other albums with that name, just with lowercase "l", so "AfterLife (album)" should redirect to "Afterlife (disambiguation)" FMSky (talk) 04:19, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- @FMSky: This should not be moved, per WP:DIFFCAPS. This album was just released and pageviews are shooting up. Notice that Afterlife (album) averages zero hits per day while AfterLife (album) averages hundreds per day even before the release.[1] It's obvious anyone bothering to type a capital L in the middle of the word wants this album and should not be shunted to a dab page. Station1 (talk) 03:40, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- I just realized that stylization isnt wanted in titles anyway so it should be moved to Afterlife (Five Finger Death Punch album) --FMSky (talk) 09:42, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
