Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Whaleto

I have moved to close the RfC before it turns into the usual cesspit. Since you have apparently stopped adding your sites to the project, there appears to be no pressing need to escalate at this point. There are reports of attacks on Talk pages and your websites against other editors; I presume you know that personal attacks are banned, whether on Wikipedia or externally. I have not seen the edvidence myself so I make no judgment here, I'm just ensuring you know. Just zis Guy you know? 19:22, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

John, I note that you are removing the attack pages from your site, which is good. Please ensure that you remove all pages referring to Wikipedia editors, your comments regarding other editors should be adressed via Talk pages. Just zis Guy you know? 11:35, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Also per your last comment, I'd suggest that you don't make your behaviour conditional on that of others; if there are tendentious edits by another user you are best advised to report them factually and neutrally on the noticeboard or on my Talk. Just zis Guy you know? 22:44, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for removing the attacks on outside sites. I don't ever intend my edits to be destructive or POV, if that is ever their effect, then let me know and I will do my best to see things through other eyes. I try to remove POV when I recognise it, regardless of whether I agree with it or not. But I deal with facts, and facts that are inconvenient ar the most interesting and challenging, I'm not in the business of suppressing them. If I can find time, I will help to formulate challenges to accepted views as rigorously as possible.Gleng 08:13, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism to user pages

Nomination of Charles Pearce for deletion

Hi, I've nominated the above article for deletion. As you may have seen, I strongly supported the inclusion of William Tebb and expanded the article, but sources are very thin on Pearce, which I think reflects a much lower level of notability. Gordonofcartoon 21:33, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
