Polish nobles hunted on horseback with this greyhound. The hound is very obediant. It is most appropriate for experienced owners. This dog needs to have lots of exercise. A good way to maintain fitness is to jog or cycle with it. It is a good house dog that is calm, friendly and alert without aggressiveness. A Chart Polski is very patient with children. There are no commonly known diseases. The fur is short, smooth, and close to the body.It is expected to live from 10 to 12 years. the fur has all common colors except streaked. The usual weight for males and females is 55-66 pounds. Males and females are also both about 27 to 32 inches. Not very intensive care is required. It is very easy to train the Chart Polski. This dog is wonderful except the fact of how inappropriate it is for living in the city. |
