Robert Jordon, M.D., is an emeritus professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Texas, Houston. He served as the chair of the department until his retirement in 2001. While he was a student at the Mayo school of medicine, he and E. H. Beutner discovered that pemphigous is an autoimmune disease; a finding they subsequently published in 1964.[1]
