Bright is an experimental space-rock unit with a penchant for improvisation. Formed in 1993 at Boston, Massachusetts, the duo, Mark Dwinnell (guitar, vocals) and Joe LeBreque (drums), are known for chugging beats and repeating measures.

On several of their recordings, they have teamed up veteran studio engineer Jacques Cohen, who has worked with other well-known indie artists such as Mercury Rev, Hopewell and Jerkwater. The band also recorded 'Korn Ring Finger' for a 2003 Captain Beefheart tribute album.
