Greg Steube is a current Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 67th District since 2010.
Personal Life
Greg Steube was born in Bradenton, FL on May 19, 1978 to father Brad and mother Debbie Steube. He attended Southeast High School for secondary education, before attending the University of Florida. During his time in college, he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity as well as a member of the University of Florida Honor Society Florida Blue Key. He was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. During his time at the University of Florida, he interned in both the Florida Legislature as well as the U.S. House of Representatives.
During his last year of Law School, Greg Steube enlisted in the U.S. Army's delayed entry program, and after completing the Florida Bar Exam, entered into a year in the Infantry. Afterward, he transferred to the Judge Advocate General's Corps for three years, during which he became a Captain. This took place during the Gulf War[1] .
Currently, in addition to his job as a legislator, he is an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff.[2]
