Daniel Gallemore (born June 14, 1985) is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Heavyweight division of the Victory Fighting Championship . A professional competitor since 2011, Gallemore has also formerly competed for Titan FC and Bellator MMA.

Background

Born and raised Eskridge, Kansas, Gallemore attended Mission Valley High School, and competed in wrestling and football. Gallemore began training in MMA after graduating high school to maintain and stay in shape.[1][2]

Mixed martial arts career

Early career

Gallemore compiled an amateur record of 12-3 and won the ISCF Amateur Championship before turning professional in 2011.[1][2]

Gallemore made his professional MMA debut against current Bellator Heavyweight Alex Huddleston and was defeated via unanimous decision. Gallemore was then signed by Bellator MMA.

Bellator MMA

Gallemore made his Bellator debut at Bellator 56 against Derrick Ruffin on October 29, 2011. Gallemore won via second-round TKO when Ruffin refused to answer the bell for the third round.

Gallemore was scheduled to make his next Bellator appearance against Maurice Jackson at Bellator 113 on March 21, 2014. However, Jackson pulled out of the fight due to an injury and was replaced by Frederick Brown. Gallemore won via first-round knockout.

Gallemore then faced Gzim Selmani at Bellator 130 on October 24, 2014. Gallemore won via TKO in the second round.

Gallemore faced undefeated Augusto Sakai at Bellator 139 on June 26, 2015.[3] Gallemore lost the fight via TKO after he retired from the match in his corner between rounds two and three.

Gallemore was scheduled to rematch Fredrick Brown on Bellator 150 on February 26, 2016, but Brown had to back out of the fight due to injury.

Boxing Career

Gallemore is also an undefeated professional boxer with a record of 4-0-0, with two wins coming by way of knockout.
