On 19th of March 2019 the C.S.C. canteen was robbed by a juvenile delinquent, they entered through the window and stole 2 bottles of milk, some chips, popcorn, 5 packs of mints and half of the zooper doopers.

Such an event caused major controversy throughout the school, and the consequences were of an enormous scale. Despite the condolences and reassurance of the school's highly regarded principal, many students underwent the greatest famine of their young lives.

Castlemaine Secondary College is a state secondary school located in the town of Castlemaine in central Victoria, Australia which caters for approximately 630 students[1] from Years 7 to 12. It is the only state secondary school in the Mount Alexander Shire.
