- Real Madrid win their fourteenth UEFA Champions League title after defeating Liverpool 1-0 in the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final at the Stade de France in Paris, with Vinícius Júnior scoring the winning goal. Kick-off was delayed by 36 minutes due to disorder outside the stadium which saw French police fire tear gas at Liverpool supporters.
