I'll start this review over the next few days. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 19:47, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to stick my oar in, but is this review still ongoing? It's been updated incrementally, but nothing has happened in nearly two weeks. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:32, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to point out that in addition to updating the icons, where there are issues, the reviewer is expected to explain what problems have been found so the nominator can fix them. So far, not a single request has been made in over six weeks. Hansi667, there needs to be progress on this front soon. If you don't have time, we can always put the nomination back into the reviewing pool. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:19, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This is atypical of Hansi, he was very responsive when reviewing this. I can give him the benefit of the doubt that he is reviewing a subject in a language which is not his own, and a level of football which has practically no coverage outside of the British Isles. '''tAD''' (talk) 19:27, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The Almightey Drill, that was Hansi's first GA review, which took ten days to complete back in May; this is his second. I do hope for a quick response here. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:36, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Mattythewhite, The Almightey Drill, and BlueMoonset: Other obligations (work, child, M.Sc. dissertation) left me little time for this one. But when I start a task, I want to get it to the end. I'll give my best to finish it over the next 4-5 days, starting from now. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 09:48, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:
The prose is encyclopedic, with no copyvios or errors.
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
Since he has been capped for England C, a section should be attributed to his international career per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Players. Other than that, the lead summarises the topic well and there are no WP:WTW found.  Done A properly referenced international career section has been created.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
The article has a reference section that is in accordance with WP:FNNR.
    B. Cites reliable sources, where necessary:
There is no source supporting his 5 caps for England C.
Found one. Hugman is a major name in football statistics with a long print history '''tAD''' (talk) 12:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)  Done[reply]
Some dead links are spotted (2–5). They have to be fixed.
     Done 12:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
It's the same with 1B: a section that summarises his international career has to be created, so the article to be broad enough in its coverage.
Done a subsection due to its brevity and relative lack of notability compared to full international football
From how the article is written, it's not obvious when he debuted for England C.
This is hard because it is a level of football which is not well documented – RSSSF have no details and other sites just have results going back 2005 at the latest. "Non-League Paper" appears to have covered the C-team but their old articles have now been lost, and only seem to survive when syndicated to other sites, like the report I found for the England-Scotland game. '''tAD''' (talk) 18:38, 14 August 2015 (UTC) I did some search myself and couldn't find a full list of England C's games. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 10:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC) [reply]
Hi, using the Non-League Club Directory 2013 I've expanded on the details of his England C career. Mattythewhite (talk) 12:20, 16 August 2015 (UTC) Done Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 23:06, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
One last one: Yeovil and Exeter are playing against each other tomorrow and they will commemorate Stansfield (already in the article). I think we'll have to wait and see if anything special happens tomorrow to add it in the article (e.g. a match between supporters of the two clubs will be played - source)
If you check the date on the article, the YTFC-ECFC match was played last weekend. The BBC – who largely ignore anything outside the Premier League – do not mention Stansfield in their report, and shockingly neither does the Exeter media. There is a plan for this charity game to be played before the reverse fixture in April, hopefully it can become a fixture for all future meetings of his teams (Hereford United are now bankrupt and starting from the bottom again, but I wouldn't want them to be left out either) '''tAD''' (talk) 18:51, 14 August 2015 (UTC) [reply]
From what I read in this report a game between fans took place in memory of Stansfield (Yeovil fans won 6–1). A sentence should be written that such a match took place in the Posthumous recognition section. Also, during the match between the clubs' professionial sides, fans applauded in the 7th and 9th minute (the numbers he wore while at Yeovil and Exeter). That could be a second sentence. Sources for these two can be found here, here, here, here and here. There is is one more story that should be added: one of Flybe's planes was named after Adam Stansfield from 2011 to 2015. This also should be added in the Posthumous recognition section. Sources can be found here and here. Other than these two last minor modifications the article is good enough for GA. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 10:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC) @Mattythewhite and The Almightey Drill: I'm just waiting for an inclusion of this one to the article to list as a GA. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 11:01, 18 August 2015 (UTC)  Done Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 17:25, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    B. Focused (see summary style):
The articles consistently stays on topic.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
    Content is WP:NPOV
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
    No ongoing edit wars.
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

After the modifications made, I'm happy to list the article as a GA. Hansi667 (Neighbor Of The Beast) a penny for your thoughts? 17:25, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
