I'm interested in the reference to the "boarding house on the west side of the city" in Las Vegas, where, as the article states, the black entertainers were made to stay. Anyone have any reference to that address/location? I'd like to check it out, seeing that I live in this whore-town. Well, I don't "live" here, I reside. There is a rather unique neighborhood just west of the strip that has larger houses of early 60's-70's type architecture (beautiful old homes) and I'm wondering if it was stuck in there somewhere. Off of Alta Drive. Near Rancho. Sammy was/is one of my favorites. Went to his funeral, etc. etc... My Goberian is named after him. My lab after Dean. Still reading? I need medication.
