Thank you for contributing to the article Zina. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. I would advise you to self-revert your recent edit. As an editor, you have the responsibility to discuss any disputed edit and try to gain consensus, instead of repeatedly re-inserting it. Wikipedia is based on collaboration. - IslamOnline and Islamhouse.com is not self published source, they are established governmental fatwa websites of Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Bengali editor (talk) 14:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Precisely what makes them unreliable. They're not independent and secondary scholarly sources. See WP:REPUTABLE. StephenMacky1 (talk) 14:20, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Islamic religious rulings are "dependant" on Quran and Hadith, it's enough to be secondary, those you call independent sources, the western scholarly publishes, are not basically "independent" actually, they see everything in the mirror of western ideologies, state-run national religious authority based preaching publishes are enough reliable to take place on wikipedia . Bengali editor (talk) 16:35, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Please note that if you continue to openly declare that you do not accept Wikipedia's rules (as you are doing here regarding sources) and to revert carefully explained edits (as you just did at Makruh to user:StephenMacky1's) it may reasonably lead to the conclusion that you are not here to collaboratively create a neutral encyclopedia based on reliable sources, but have some other agenda and should therefore be blocked. Hello, I'm Begocc. I noticed that you recently removed content from Siddhacharya without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. begocc questions? 11:23, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively, please note that people of many different faiths read Wikipedia articles. For this reason, there is a guideline about Islamic honorifics in the Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a neutral point of view and consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style by adding honorifics disturbs uniformity among articles and should only be done with a special reason. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. User:CanonNi

You've been edit warring in various articles, particularly Zina, with User:StephenMacky1 and User:UrielAcosta and others--you did it long before you got your account (from IPs 202.134.10.137 and 202.134.9.150), and you are still diong it. I have to tell you, you need to stop doing this disruption (edit warring), and you need to discuss this on the article talk page if you wish to make progress. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 15:21, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Templates for discussion notices from templates, or remove other people's comments in Templates for discussion debates, as you did with Template:Charyapada. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion or merging of a template, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. User:CanonNi

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bangiya Sahitya Parishat. Please STOP adding the Charyapada template to apparently unrelated articles. Drmies (talk) 00:41, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dobhashi into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. User:CanonNi

Your recent editing history at Makruh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Bengali editor! Your additions to Sharh al-Sunna have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's elegibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ☉) 14:42, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
Replaceable non-free use File:Ved Prakash Upaddhay.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Ved Prakash Upaddhay.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text

below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Kalki Avatar and Muhammad book cover.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Kalki Avatar and Muhammad book cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
