Bundaberg Regional Council is a proposed Local Government Area in Queensland, Australia. The Local Government Area will be created in March 2008 as a result of the report of the Local Government Reform Commission released in July 2007. The new Council, located in the Wide Bay region of Queensland, will contain the entire area of four existing Local Government Areas;

The report recommends that the new local government area should not be divided into wards and elect ten councillors and a mayor. The Bundaberg Regional Council will cover an area of 6,451 square kilometres (2,491 sq mi), contain an estimated resident population in 2006 of 86,364 and have an estimated operating budget of AUD89m.[1]

The Regional Council will cover the city of Bundaberg and the towns of Apple Tree Creek, Avondale, Bargara, Booyal, Burnett Heads, Buxton, Childers, Elliott Heads, Gin Gin, Innes Park, Isis Central, Moore Park, Tirroan, Wallaville and Woodgate.
