The 2005 meeting of the Bilderberg Group took place at the Dorint Sofitel Seehotel Überfahrt, in Rottach-Egern, Germany, from May 5 to May 8 2005.[1] Among the guests were the German chancellor at the time, Gerhard Schröder, and his successor, Angela Merkel, who was elected as chancellor later that year.

According to Daniel Estulin, these topics were discussed during this Bilderberg meeting: Iran, Iraq, The Middle East, Non-Proliferation, Asia, Economic Problems, Russia, European-American relations.[2]
