Ted Kooshian is a New York jazz pianist and keyboardist who has performed with artists that include Aretha Franklin, Chuck Berry, Toni Braxton, Marvin Hamlisch, Sarah Brightman, and Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Kooshian has made many Broadway appearances and is a member of the Ed Palermo Big Band. Originally from San Jose, California, Kooshian has been actively performing since the 1980s. He has released two CD's: Clockwork (2004) and Ted Kooshian's Standard Orbit Quartet (2008) (on Summit Records).
