A girl we all know of from the earthquake on August 17th 1999, Ömür Kınay, has won the Golden Cocoon Award for the "Best Experimental Film" with her short film depicting the seven counsels of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. The name of the film is "Kün," which means "To be" in Arabic.

Kınay is a Communication and Design Department sophomore student in Kültür University. The film, which previously won two more awards, was prepared to be her final project. Its duration is 3 minutes and 20 seconds. She says that she used "symbolic and strking visuality" in the film.

The soundtrack of the film includes "Ab-ı Nafi" by Mercan Dede and Ceza. The seven counsels were dubbed by Okan Bayülgen. Kınay also expressed that she did not receive this award for being disabled but for producing a good work.
