Dr. Mire Hagi Farah Yusuf ([Mire Xaaji Faarax Yuusuf] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) (1962 - 12 October 2006) was a Somali politician. He was born in Qandala, and educated at Somali Polytechnical School, Mogadisho, and in the USA, where he studied economics and political science. He returned to Somalia to serve his country, and was nominated to be Mayor of Kismayo in early 1996,and met a beautiful lady named khadra yusur and soon they have gotten married and in 1998 they had a son named farah and a girl named anisa born in 2003 where he remained for four years. He was among the delegates that participated the Somali peace conference in Arta, Djibouti, and became member of the newly formed Somalian cabinet. He served as Minister of State for Fishing and Sea resources. In 2004, he again became member of the transitional government's parliament and cabinet, and he was the Finance Minister in Somalia's federal government.
