East Durham is an unincorporated community That is part of The town of Durham, New York located in the U.S. State of New York, approximately 535 feet (163 m) above sea level, in Greene County.[1] In the 2000 Census its population was 1041.[3] The village has a total land area area of approximately 13.69 square miles (35.5 km2), and no water.[2] It has the ZIP Code 12423 and the area code 518.[4]

East Durham is known for it's Irish Festivals and Irish cultural promotion. The town is the home of the Irish Village USA. It also has a water park named Zoom Flume
