Why the list of names?

Wikipedia is not a directory of miscellaneous information. Millions of people were prisoners in one camp or another in WW2, and in general we do not list every person who was an inmate or guard, any more than we list every sailor on every ship, or every soldier in every regiment. The only ones who should be named in this article are those who somehow were the subject of secondary coverage, perhaps for rebellion or escape attempts, or who were notable for something other than being a POW.
