Gilbert Annette (born March 10, 1946 in Diego-Suarez, Madagascar) is a politician from Madagascar who served and represented Réunion in the French National Assembly from 1993-1997 . Mayor of Saint-Denis, Réunion since 2008.

Convicted for corruption in 1996, sentenced by 5 years of deprivation of civil rights, fine of 200.000 FRF (30.000 €) and 30 months imprisionnement (of which 12 months had been suspended)
