Tunisian Pirate Party (Arabic: حزب القراصنة التونسي Hizb al-Qarāṣinah at-Tūnisī ; French: Parti pirate tunisien) is a small political party in Tunisia. It was formed in 2010 and legalised on 12 March 2012[1], becoming one of the first outgrowths of the Pirate Party movement in continental Africa. It is a member of the Pirate Parties International.

The party achieved notoriety during the 2010–2011 Tunisian protests, when a number of members of the party, including Slim Amamou and Azyz Ammami were detained for their participation during the protest; Ammami was himself assaulted by security forces while detained. Within the week after the president's resignation and departure from Tunisia, one of the detained, Slim Amamou, was selected for the newly-created post of Secretary for Youth and Sports in the incumbent caretaker government of Mohamed Ghannouchi. This is the first time that any outgrowth of the Pirate Party movement has achieved national-level political office.
