Removed Incorrect Wikipedia Facts
There have been some pretty incorrect facts so this section is here to set the record straight.
- Xzibit's Wikipedia page has incorrectly stated that Xzibit's real name is "Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV" - In a recent interview Xzibit said that he is simply Alvin Nathaniel Joiner in his family and the name comes from his Father and his Grandfather. [1]
- There is no feud with DMX and Crooked I; Xzibit made it very clear (in the same interview as above) that he has not seen or spoken to either DMX or Crooked I recently. [2]
- Both of the above facts can be confirmed in this interview: http://www.xzibitcentral.com/xzibit-interview-text-2007.php
Citing the sources
UPDATE - I've just done some updates to the page, including adding a references list. If there are any problems with whats been added so far, please email me at webmaster (at) xzibitcentral.com to let me know whats been done wrong.
I'm pretty new to Wikipedia so dont be too harsh :)

Hey Guys - My name is Justin, i run Xzibit's Official Fansite - http://www.xzibitcentral.com. I've noticed how poorly cited Xzibit's Wikipedia page is, so from now i will go through the information and edit it to reflect citable references.
I speak to Xzibit often, so if there is information which may be incorrect i can verify the information over the phone.
If anyone has a problem with this let me know, but as you will find, XzibitCentral.com has more correct information in one place then all of the various Xzibit websites put together.
Thanks for your time, Justin Russo - XzibitCentral.com (http://www.xzibitcentral.com)

DOB
Isn't his birthday Sepetember 18th of 1974, not January 8th? I don't know where the January 8th thing comes from.
Fansite link removed? It's a vault of information...
I was just looking at the Xzibit page on wikipedia and I noticed that one of the admins has removed the link to XzibitCentral.com - the official fansite which Xzibit actually says publicly is his Official site.
I've read the page about fansites and I do not understand why the link was removed.
The page talks about how many fansites do not have much information, but if you have a look at my site it is rich with information that isn't on wikipedia.
It's not like I'm running this website without Xzibits permission. Xzibit gets on the page every few days, I even spoke to him yesterday about the website, he's keen to help promote it.
Just go to the site and listen to the shoutout X made, he obviously thinks the site is valuable...
Can you please tell me why it cannot be put up on the page for all Xzibit fans to access?
Even on the page about External links it states: Links to be used occasionally - "On articles about topics with many fansites, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate, marking the link as such. "
I hope you take the time to check out the site and realise that it isn't just a groupie saying that their artist rocks their socks, the website has taken 3 years to get where it has and is fully supported by the artist - its not just a backyard job, its a professional effort.
Thanks for your time, Justin Russo - XzibitCentral.com (http://www.xzibitcentral.com)
Just received an email from "Can't sleep, clown will eat me", a wikipedia admin - he said its fine that the link goes back up - as per email response from him i'll post it back up again!
Thanks
another album to add
Xzibit - Appetite For Destruction (Mixtape) (2004)
I have it and its real but It's not on the article under Xzibit's albums. Contact me at mr._x@shaw.ca when someone agrees and adds the album. Thanks.
aliens and ghosts
Shouldn't his theory that ghosts and aliens are only encountered by whites be included here?
haha umm you have a source for that? Tutmosis 00:48, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/entertainment/18082004.htm http://www.alienresistance.org/bufon.htm mentions it briefly Evilbu 09:33, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
so why was it removed now? Evilbu 15:15, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- Probably because it looked like vandalism. I mean, seriously, it looks like someone's having you on. Add the references to the page if you want it to stick around. Rob 21:17, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Well I put it back, and the first URL has been added to external links. Now I really don't see why it should be removed. It is correct, it is proven, and it is NOT racist to put a theory of this particular person about racial differences on this page. His theory is not really racist (well if you find that racist don't watch Family Guy) and EVEN if it was, Wikipedia's articles about Hitler aren't only about his artistic interests right?? Evilbu 18:03, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
why isn't any information about his life appear? non rap career
I think his idea that only white people see aliens is not encyclopaedia content. It isn't a theory, he is simply saying that such things do not exist. --Jaymo 16:22, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
His new album sold more
Xzibits album has sold much more the 22,000 so please get the facts right and fix this
New Album
Someone added More Than Just A Game... as the name for his next album but it's false. as said in an interview with him. He said it's false and he has no idea where is it coming from. Football 7 16:58, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Feuds rewrite
Could somebody clean up the 'Feuds' bit of the article? The tone of it doesn't really fit with the rest of the article, and the listed lyrics are incorrect (the line is 'Get a hearing aid', not 'get a hand grenade'). Additionally, it suffers from some grammar and spelling issues.
- I would put my hand up to do it, however my grammar is pretty poor at best. However, if anyone wants to actually listen to that diss track, you can download it from http://www.xzibitcentral.com/audio.php - enjoy and hopefully the Feuds section gets a clean up. XzibitCentral 14:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC).
should be added
it should be added that he was in a gang you can search crips on this sites for his name and the information needed
Tribute to Proof
In one of the verses in "Thank You" I think he was talking bout when they buried proof.
Early Life
Just Added {cleanup} and {fansite} to this section. Need someone with reputable sources to rewrite this.
The Breaks
He was in The Breaks movie.
Award nominations
Shouldn't his award nominations be in here? he was nominated for favorite male TV personality or something.look xzibit is the worlds favorite rapper
No Response to Busta Rhymes, DJ Quik, The Game diss?
I just heard Die To Soon by Busta, The Game, and DJ Quik. Did Xzibit respond to this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.70.154.209 (talk) 23:56, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Nop, it was not a serious diss. both game and quik appeared on a song from Full Circle. And he is close friends with busta. I dont think this was a major diss. West Coast Ryda 14:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Actually DJ Quik produced a song and The Game appeared as a guest. This song was released unofficial before Full Circle. I dont think Busta Rhymes would ever make such non-sense feuds as he is not a battle rapper and has never appeared on any feuds just a minor one with Ja Rule. --West Coast Ryda 14:44, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Busta Rhymes Beef?!
This is complete rubbish, has nothing to back it up and no records of it on any of the major hip-hop sites from the time it claims to be from, should be deleted ASAP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.109.182.87 (talk) 15:04, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
yo dawg, we heard you like cars...
Have any of you seen this? Where does it come from? I think it has something to do with something he said during "pimp my ride". --Dguenther - DGun (talk) 05:36, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I've been able to find out it's just a /b/ catchphrase/image macro spawned from Xzibit's history of doing things like putting fireplaces in SUVs, probably originating with this image. I'm documenting more and adding plenty of other examples to the Internet Meme Database --Jamiew (talk) 04:49, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- The yo dawg thing has become a popular internet meme and can be found frequently on many message boards as references to redundancy, etc. New one's spawn up all the time still I think it does deserve a brief mention in the article. --99.231.247.154 (talk) 16:29, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
The 'yo dawg' meme section of this article was written like it came from some /b/tard from 4chan. "the internet liked it"..."a meme was born"...? I removed it until someone could do a comprehensive rewrite. Hope that was within my rights. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.198.0.201 (talk) 21:23, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Consider this is the most known appearance of him worldwide, it's pretty pathetic that this article doesn't even mention him as an internet meme. Taric25 (talk) 14:42, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
Dutch Police
The article states: Ultimately he never got his license back from the Dutch Police and had to apply for a new one in the United States. This is not completely correct. When the dutch police takes in your licence they hand it over to the district eterny. You got to apply to the district eterny's office to get it back. He just didn't do that, and decided to apply for a new one in the US. If he would have apllyed for it at the district eternys office, the district eterny would hav given him his ticket and he would have got it back. This is standard procedure in the Netherlands. thug_n_g 16:01, 13 March 2009 (CET)
Fast and Furious
Forgive me if I am doing this wrong it is my first time. Now to the point. I do not believe he is in Fast and Furious as IMDB does not list him as being in the movie. Someone should either find a source or delete said contribution to the page. Once again sorry if I'm doing the whole discussion page thing wrong it is my first time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evanazzo (talk • contribs) 16:18, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Wu Tang Clan
Can find no verification that Xzibit was ever in Wu-Tang clan. Removing unsourced fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.244.89.230 (talk) 18:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Also should be added
Shouldn't there be a little more mention of Pimp my ride in his career and mention of his involvement in the group Strong Arm steady? It has a link to the group but under the Filmography section?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.216.155 (talk) 15:10, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Rove McManus to Rove Live
Surely the Rove section should be renamed as McManus himself had little to nothing to do with the event. Presumably it should be the title of the show, "Rove Live". Danlibbo (talk) 04:59, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
File:Xzibit2.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion
An image used in this article, File:Xzibit2.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.
