I clean out my discussions every couple of years.
Just because
a song, such as Great Balls of Fire, charts in the country charts it does not mean that the song is a country song, as per genre, as per your edit there. Great Balls of Fire also charted on the R&B charts, but that does not make it R&B. However I did not revert your edit because you are an experienced editor, I guess I'd like you to think about it or discuss it. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 16:22, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Looney Tunes: Back in Action
Just to clarify, the issue I had with the "box office bomb" claim was the fact that the boxoffice mojo source does not actually state that the film was a "bomb". So it does not seem to be a reliable source for the claim. Did the film under-perform? Of course. But we should not be presumptuous about the numbers, and we should not read our own meaning into them. If there was a source that actually did refer to the film as a box office bomb, then the claim would be fine. Not to mention, on the box office bomb page, it states "Gauging the financial success of a film is difficult, and because there is no reliable definition, what makes a box-office bomb can be very subjective. Not all films that fail to earn back their estimated costs during their theatrical runs are bombs." Those are my thoughts on the matter. Perhaps SummerPhD (talk · contribs) could offer her two cents? I'm interesting in hearing her thoughts. Wikicontributor12 (talk) 06:32, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your consideration. I've given this some thought, and since no one else seems to have an issue with it, then I guess the box office mojo source is enough at this time.Wikicontributor12 (talk) 09:06, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Elmer Fudd
Hi, Dpm12. Wanted to explain my edit to Elmer Fudd just now. The reliable-source comics historian Don Markstein, cited in the article body, suggests a different voice actor, and when two reliable sources disagree, it's POV to choose one over the other; that's why both are listed. Behind the Voice Actors is a fine news website but it doesn't automatically supersede a noted historian. I'm sure a longtime editor like yourself understands. September 2016
Hello, I'm Andrewgprout. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Everybody Hurts, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Joe Alaskey.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Joe Alaskey.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
