Shamsabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان شمس آباد) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Dezful County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 40,207, in 8,283 families.[1] The rural district has 25 villages.
