Career
Chievo Verona
Progressing through the youth ranks at his hometown club Chievo Verona, Caprile played for the club's under-17 and under-19 sides before being promoted to the reserve team. Without making a senior appearance for the club, Caprile was named on the bench in three competitions; Serie A, Serie B and Coppa Italia.[4]
Leeds United
Caprile joined English club Leeds United for an undisclosed fee on the 21st January 2020 making him the Yorkshire club's first signing of the transfer window.[5]He featured three times for the Whites' under-23 side before the curtailment of the season, conceding just four goals.[6][7][8]Despite the eight-game suspension of first-choice goalkeeper Kiko Casilla[9], Caprile is yet to make an appearance for the first team, seemingly behind French youngster Ilan Meslier and Polish youth international Kamil Miazek in the pecking order. He has still been named on the bench multiple times for the senior team in the EFL Championship.[10]
International career
Caprile has earned a solitary cap for Italy's Under-18 side against France Under-18s in February 2019. After Caprile's entrance at half-time, his side gave up three goals in a 3-0 defeat.[11]
