This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 3125A (talk | contribs) at 17:56, 24 November 2020 (Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This is 3125A's talk page. The user page is here.

If you want to talk to me:

Please add a new section using == <Name of new section> == from the "Edit source" at the top right of the page or click "New section" at the top right. You can either talk back to me using {{u|3125A}} or {{Talkback}} template. Then write your message. Lastly, use ~~~~ to do the signature part.

Or click this big button:

Remember: Please don't vandalize.

If I talk to you:

I will either respond on either my talk page or yours (each in different situations). I use {{u|Example}} (I can't do a real user for this one so I'll have to do Example) or just talk back to talk back to you. You will see my signature at the end of my message. You can talk back to me using the same way as above.

Why your talk section was removed:
If you see that the talk section that you made is now gone, then calm down, Lowercase sigmabot III moved it to a archive.

I've reverted your addition of a non-free image to this template. Per the non-free content policy at WP:NFCC #9, non-free content such as File:Minecraft cover.png may not be displayed outside of the article mainspace. This file is marked with a non-free license which has this red copyright symbol on it. If you see that symbol in the future, that means you can't use it on templates such as this. I hope that clarifies things. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 18:02, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:56, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate

In response to: "Hello, I'm 3125A. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Template:3125A 17:42, 24 November 2020 (UTC)"

There are references that are being ignored. The reference for the history of title tournaments is sourced from the ref at the bottom of the table and the details about the founding of a tournament are also referenced. The info about tournaments being cancelled because of pandemic are just a fact based on how the world is right now.

Can you explain more? Your English is confusing. {{3125A|talk}} 17:47, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if they're being ignored, add them to where they're supposed to be to not confuse people. {{3125A|talk}} 17:49, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your complaint is that there are no references. This is not true. The results for the British Parliamentary National Championship are collectively referenced by a ref at the end of the table they are organized in. It is specifically a website archive that lists them. The details about the founding of that tournament, listed in the history section, is also referenced. Do I really have to copy and paste the same reference for every single part of the table? Otherwise they are where they need to be. Finally, the addition to the history section about this season, 2020-2021, being cancelled/held online is impossible to reference because it is just a fact of the pandemic.

All of this information is significant as it is a major national university competition. It is equivalent to national university chess or football titles.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:1970:529A:7F00:0:0:0:C37 (talk) 17:53, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you have to copy and paste the same reference for every single part of the table. "Your complaint is that there are no references. This is not true." In your talk page, I corrected myself, and said there were 2 references, but they weren't enough to support the entire page. {{3125A|talk}} 17:56, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
